Dustee Sound (she/they) is a LA-based songwriter with a knack for writing music and lyrics in a wide range of genres, including dream pop and alternative R&B. A product of their versatile taste in music, Dustee Sound creates indie rock music that comforts like a freshly laundered worn-in blanket.

Growing up in the San Gabriel Valley in LA County, Karin Chan, the artist behind Dustee Sound, frequented boba tea shops with friends after school and practiced the guitar during their spare time. Dustee Sound began as a bedroom producer while writing their own songs, inspired by the sonic landscapes of New Wave music and lyrical vulnerability of Carly Rae Jepsen.

They thrive on collaborations with local music artists in songwriting and production. Dustee Sound's debut single, "On Your Skin (Undegradable), releases on January 23, 2025.
